The Lord Jesus Christ had compassion on the crowd, although he was grieving for his dead cousin John (Matthew 14). The crowd were probably nonbelievers. The Holy Bible mentions the need for members of the body of Christ to ask for support from other parts of the body (1 Corinthians 12).
